José Gabriel joins ALTIS in 2008, where he formed the distribution fund business. He leads the fund distribution and asset-raising team between institutional investors and private banks in Latam. On behalf ALTIS, he has developed deals and work in the region for Vontobel Asset Management, Wellington Asset Management, AEGON Funds, Baron Capital, Brooke Private Equity Associates, Lone Star Funds, Credit Suisse Private Fund Group, Berkshire, Advent International, Charterhouse Capital Partners, Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, Kelso, Odyssey and Goldentree.
Previously, he worked in the distribution of Pioneer Investments and was an Associate at Carey& Cia, providing legal advice on corporate law between 1997 and 2003.

José Gabriel holds a Law School Graduate, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Master in Business Administration (Cum Laude), FW Olin Graduate School of Business, Babson College (Boston, USA).
